Brian joined the choir in august 1969, and was immediately put in the engine room section, the 2nd bass, where he has sung ever since, and in 2004 reached the giddy heights as choir treasurer after the last, treasurer became too ill to carry on. He gave up his working life 3 years ago when he was 65, so has plenty of time on his hands to do the job.
He is married to Ray, who is also the treasurer of the choir ladies committee, has 2 sons, and 5 grandchildren, and 4 step grandchildren. He likes playing the guitar, and banjo, gardening, reading, walking, singing, and drinking, and at the moment (he says) he’s very happy with his lot.
